04/23/2006: "Green Wing highlights on Friday"
Dr Secretan, as usual, provided the best laughs. Finding himself on community service with an anarchist skinhead who hates the middle classes, the Swiss Lothario adopts a ludicrous cocker-nee accent and swears unconvincingly in what he thinks is the proletarian vernacular. His cover is blown when a co-worker strolls by and addresses him as doctor. Later, we see him training youths in "Guyball" - a bizarre sport he learned as a child in the Alps. There's a great routine as he expresses exasperation at the youngsters' inability to grasp the rules. It reminded me very much of one of the funniest scenes in the League of Gentlemen, when one of the characters is enticed into a game of Go Johnny, Go-go-go-go.
