I’ve worked professionally as a copywriter since the early 1990s and have taught writing skills in both commercial and academic settings. Compelling copy really will make a difference to your business or organisation and it’s worth investing some time and money to create a product that stands out. There’s no such thing as a typical project for me. I’ve written direct mail letters to sell everything from coffee to collectables, but I’m just as happy creating a one-off ad, a website for a small business or a 20,000-word brochure on behalf of a university.
During my career, I’ve created scripts for radio commercials and produced press releases, e-cards and advertorial copy.
